What is USA Dance?

USA Dance is a national non-profit organization run by volunteers promoting Ballroom and Latin dancing as both a social activity and a competitive sport.  The Youngstown-Warren Chapter holds monthly dances with a lesson before the dance, and they are open to the public.

Members of USA Dance are encouraged to promote Ballroom Dancing to their friends and families, as well as to strive to always become better dancers themselves.

For more information on USA Dance visit the National web site.   usadance.org

Activities of USA Dance

In addition to our monthly dances, the Youngstown-Warren Chapter 2015 of USA Dance is also quite involved with our communities through our outreach programs by dancing for shut-ins at nursing homes and other facilities, and bringing dancing to the general public by organizing dancing events at area shopping malls, bridal shows, and county fairs.

Many of our members compete in both USA Dance sanctioned competitions and/or National Dance Council of America sanctioned events, but this is strictly by choice.  The majority of our members are social dancers, with one common interest - the enjoyment of dancing!
